The 2nd International Brain Research School (BRS) of Cellular Neuroscience and Oxidative Stress Society was organized by Suleyman Demirel University between 6 and 12 November 2017 in Isparta, Turkey.  19 National and 1 international participants were in the second school and they were 1 assoc. prof, 5 assistant professor, 10 Ph.D. students, 2 specialist physicians and 2 medical faculty students. The abstracts of the oral presentation were published in Journal of Cellular Neuroscience and Oxidative Stress (http://dergipark.gov.tr/jcnos). We have since received a considerable amount of positive feedback encouraging us to re-organize a second BRS, with even greater international participations. We have therefore decided to proceed with the organization of the ‘3rd International Brain Research School’. It will be held between 25 June and 1 July 2018 (http://2018.brs.org.tr/).  In the school, basic neuroscience lessons such as ions, ion channels and neuron anatomy will be given to all participants. The School was formed to foster interdisciplinary dialog and collaboration among students and faculty and to create new educational and research opportunities unconstrained by traditional disciplinary boundaries. Since the main fields of research conducted by the HSOD Society School of Brain Research– such as epilepsy, Alzheimer, dementia, diabetic neuropathic pain and Parkinson inductions in experimental animals will be taught. In addition, molecular techniques of neuroscience such as patch-clamp, western blot, Fura-2, immunohistochemistry, confocal microscope, and antioxidant analyses will be taught the participants. There are too many social activities such as Eğirdir lake tours, handmade carpet museums of Isparta and barbeque party in the school. At end of the course, scientific manuscript preparation technique will also be explained to the participants. Participant limit of BRS-2018 is 30.

I look forward to see you in rose city, Isparta.
